Delhi Daredevils completely dominated the pre-tournament favourites Deccan Chargers in Hyderabad and registered their second consecutive 9 wicket victory in the Indian Premier League Twenty20 (IPLT20) tournament. Batting first the Deccan Chargers were up against some great bowling by McGrath and Mohd Asif. At one stage there were 82/6 and reached a competitive total of 142 only due to a some late lusty blow by Rohit Sharma.
Chasing 143, the Daredevils never looked to be in a spot of bother and with over 7 overs to spare! Virender Sehwag was ruthless, smashing his way to 94 off just 41 balls in an innings studded with ten 4’s and 6 sixes. With this victory the Delhi Daredevils seem to be the team to beat in this tournament!
